Legendary Man Home Plate Watch with red stadium wood dial and red croc strap

In the 90s working and learning with Bernard Gallet of the legendary Gallet Watch Co. —the world's oldest watch house. We produced a baseball line featuring Babe Ruth and Ty Cobb under the Legends in Time brand and produced a little over 1,200 beautiful timepieces. After operating a few jewelry stores, and having sold my Baseball card shop in Trenton in the late 1980s it was a natural evolution for me to join watches and baseball to create highly collectible watches. A US Patent was issued for my Baseball Pocket Watch with Gallet developing the cases per my specs using the famous Unitas 6498. Only 4 type A examples were made as prototypes of the Georgia Peach. Being a bit cost prohibitive we opted for the proven Ronda HPC cal#763 movements.

When I set out to build Legendary Man® home plate wrist watches, I wanted to combine that exact rigorous Swiss precision with raw American history. We don't just build watches. We incorporate custom-modifed movements to frame actual pieces of hallowed baseball ground.

Designed and individually hand-assembled right here in the USA by a watchmaker trained with the lineage of the historic Gallet Watch Co., every Legendary Man® timepiece is built to rigorous horological standards in very limited runs.

Because genuine stadium seat wood carries a historic thickness, standard off-the-shelf components simply wouldn't cut it. The custom, patented Home Plate-shaped case is specifically engineered to house a modified Swiss movement, marrying rugged American past-time artifacts with precision European engineering.
